CAMD brings together sustainable materials players

The CAMD, Communauté des Acteurs du Matériel Durable (Community of Sustainable Equipment Players), brings together ten players in the construction equipment industry, including manufacturers, rental companies and construction firms. The Bouygues Construction, Colas, Eiffage, Haulotte, JCB, Kiloutou, Manitou Group, NGE, Salti and Volvo groups have joined forces to work on structuring this community. An association has now been created, with governance representing the three trades: rental, manufacturers and construction companies. Olivier Colleau, Chairman of Kiloutou, has been appointed Chairman, with two Vice-Chairmen: Michel Denis (Manitou) and Patrick N'Kodia (Director of Transformation, Bouygues Construction).

The new association has set itself a number of objectives: to provide concrete solutions for the industry, to build a knowledge base and a common decarbonization trajectory, to increase the visibility of the materials industry, to defend a sustainable industry, and to convey a shared vision and ambition for decarbonizing the sector.
