The American Altec Group announces the acquisition of spider-lift manufacturer Teupen Maschinenbau GmBH. Altec is a supplier of products and services dedicated to the network (telecom and electrical), arboriculture, lighting and signaling markets. This acquisition strengthens its range of products and services for these sectors. Teupen aerial platforms, produced since 1977 in Germany, were imported and serviced in the United States by Teupen North America in North Carolina. Martin Borutta, former owner of Teupen, will continue to oversee operations in the USA and Germany.
