Dortmund-based August Alborn has strengthened its fleet with two new TII Scheuerle vehicles. The two new 2-axle and 3-axle EuroCompact U9 series have capacities of 36 and 48 tonnes respectively. These two- and three-axle EuroCompact U9 series low-loaders are distinguished by their excellent weight/payload ratio. The versatility of EuroCompact semi-trailers ensures high utilization rates. According to Helmut Alborn, the company's Managing Director, the intuitive operating concept, including the intelligent coupling system, is one of the EuroCompact models' strong points. Thanks to this system, the gooseneck can be easily disconnected and reconnected during off-road operations. "Operating errors can have costly consequences in our transport segment," he explains. The Scheuerle trailer operating concept helps to avoid such mishaps." Especially since the Salsa simulation program can also be used to plan all load cases for modular and semi-modular transport solutions. Helmut Alborn has also invested in other Scheuerle models: several lines of Scheuerle K25 L axles will be added to the company's fleet in a few months' time.
