AAYM invests in a new Grove GKM5150XL crane

Based in Lamballe (22), AAYM, managed by Yvan Martin, has taken delivery of its new Grove GMK5150XL 150-tonne capacity crane. This new crane, the brand's second, reinforces a previous 300-tonne capacity GMK6300L-1, which was acquired in 2021.
One of the new GMK5150XL's first assignments was to supply materials for work on the roof of a local factory, thanks to its 68.7 m maximum jib and 44.5 tonne full counterweight. This work had previously been carried out by the GMK6300L-1, which was therefore freed up for other tasks.
"We really like our new Grove crane for its innovative features and high-quality details. It boasts a long boom for a five-axle crane, solid load charts, excellent capabilities in cab configuration and excellent maneuverability on narrow job sites. We've equipped the crane with a number of additional options, including the MAXbase variable outrigger positioning system, a wireless remote control and a panoramic aerial view camera to aid maneuvering. It's a really impressive crane," says AAYM General Manager Yvan Martin.
