Eric Stroppiana re-elected UFL President for a 2nd term

Since 2022, the UFL has been chaired by Eric Stroppiana, who has also been in charge of the Foselev Group's lifting, transport and handling operations since 2008.
Suffice to say that his professionalism is at its peak, as is his passion for this profession and this lifting family.

The election took place at the Annual General Meeting held in Paris on April 12. It was a very different and emotional General Meeting, as it
paid tribute to Francis Koenig, who has been with the union for over 51 years.
It's worth noting that the UFL continues to defend the interests of hoists, federates the profession and promotes it. With no fewer than 4 board meetings a year, 3 working groups on boom truck rental and rental liability, 3 meetings with the FNTP, 1 working group on assembly conditions, 6 meetings on the new Vinci framework contract, a general meeting, 5 meetings with UNM84 to revise the EN13000 standard, monthly legal and professional watch publications, the lifter's union supported by the DLR federation and its team has no shortage of activities.
Activities that provide positive responses and actions for this profession. The new Vinci framework contract for crane hire is a case in point. Another is the UFL's affiliation with the Union de la Normalisation de la Mécanique (UNM) to participate in the revision of standard EN 13000 "appareils de levage à charge suspendue - grues mobiles".
The UFL will be present at the next Esta dinner for the European lifting trophies on April 25 at the Hilton Charles de Gaulle Paris. The union is working closely with the European federation for the circulation and harmonization of conditions for the circulation of abnormal loads in Europe.
Lifting remains a close-knit profession. However, should we bemoan the collective individualism of today's federations?
The imperatives of lift operators, whose activities are not generally lacking, call for greater mobilization in the interests of all.
The UFL will be back at the next JDL in Beaune for a meeting on JDL TV, which will showcase this profession and the men and equipment that make it what it is. Lifting is a vital profession for ALL worksites, whether in industry or construction. In France, it represents 10,000 employees, nearly 3 billion euros in sales and over 450 companies.
