MAN starts selling electric trucks

MAN Truck&Bus launches its electric trucks: the MAN eTGS for worksite approach and urban distribution, and the eTGX for regional and long-distance transport. 600 pre-orders have already been registered, and the first 200 units are scheduled for delivery in 2024. The new eTGX and eTGS have been designed with a wide range of battery configurations to suit different applications, based on a modular concept.
This modular concept also enables easy bodybuilding of the vehicles. Free space on the left or right of the chassis for trunks, compressors, crane supports and other space-saving body components can be easily created thanks to the flexible positioning of the batteries.
MAN is also involved in the development of charging infrastructures, via the joint venture with Daimler Groupe and Volvo Group to install at least 1,700 high-performance charging points in Europe.
