Milence builds its 2nd truck charging station in southern France

After inaugurating its first truck charging station near Rouen a few weeks ago, Milence is building a second site, this time in Perpignan in the south of France. This joint venture between Volvo Group, Daimler Truck and Traton Group is expanding its electric charging network for trucks. The new charging station is located in the city of Perpignan, under the administration of the city council.
It will be developed in several phases, with recharging infrastructure installed alongside on-site facilities such as showers and toilets from September 2024. Three CCS (Combined Charging System) charging stations supplying six bays with a charging power of up to 400 kW are planned in the first phase. In a second phase, MCS (Megawatt Charging System) charging stations will be added to increase the station's capacity and accelerate charging times.
