Evy, Potain's new automated assembly crane

Potain has developed a new range of automated erection cranes, named Evy, and unveiled its first Evy 30-23 model with a 4-t capacity, designed for the construction of houses and buildings up to 3 storeys high.
Compliant with the forthcoming evolution of European safety standard EN 14439 for tower cranes, the new Evy 30-23 4 t crane has been designed to meet market demands for simplicity and increased hook height. Variable jib positions of 10°, 20° or 30° allow a maximum hook height of 35 m with the jib raised to 30°. With its maximum capacity of 4 tonnes and 1 tonne at the end of the boom at 30 m, it can move heavy loads with precision over a wide radius.

Features

It is equipped with the Crane Control System CCS and features Smart Set-up, Power Control and Drive Control, offering complete control and driving precision. The ergonomic remote control enhances operator comfort, reducing the need for manual operations.

This latest-generation crane also incorporates Potain Connect: this connectivity solution enables users to monitor and analyze crane use. It also enables local and remote diagnostics thanks to the Access and Assist applications. Maintenance and troubleshooting operations are made easier and more efficient.

In terms of transport, the Evy 30-23 4t is compatible with existing axles, enabling it to be easily transported by road at 25 km/h (drawbar version) or 80 km/h (fifth wheel version).
