Mobile cranes: cost prices stabilize

The cost price index for mobile cranes in Q3 2023 stood at 123.29, up slightly from 123.03 in the previous quarter, according to the index published by the Union Française du Levage. This relative stabilization is due to several factors, explains the federation: a stabilization in the cost of fleet depreciation, a significant drop in fuel and energy costs after several months of successive increases, but also a 2-fold increase in the cost of fleet financing and a 4.3% rise in labor costs. The index for 2022 is 117.59 (up more than 11% on 2021).
