2023 was a record-breaking year for the Palfinger Group: sales reached 2.45 billion euros, EBIT jumped 39.8% to 210.2 million euros, and net income rose to 107.7 million euros (an increase of over 50% compared to 2022).
Record results, therefore, despite a year marked by high volatility, rising interest rates and high inflation. The Group attributes this performance to a very good product mix, good plant capacity utilization, effective price increases and stabilization of the supply chain.
For 2024, in a difficult economic context, particularly in Europe, the Group is relying on an order book that gives it visibility until the end of the second quarter of 2024. For the first half of the year, the Group expects sales to be stable on the previous year, with lower visibility for the second half. Ambitious targets for 2027 remain unchanged: sales of 3 billion euros.
