The DLR Federation has updated its "General conditions for rental to private individuals", published in 2021. This new version has been renamed "General Terms and Conditions for Rental to Non-Professionals". A non-professional can in this case be a private individual or a legal entity acting outside its sphere of competence, such as a baker renting out a forklift truck. In this new version, several articles have been revised, mainly in terms of form. The certificate informing the customer of any malfunctioning of the rented equipment, which accompanies these CGL (at the end of the document), remains unchanged.
