TGO invests in a new 6-axle self-propelled vehicle

TGO (Terminal du Grand Ouest) manages container ship calls at the Port of Nantes St-Nazaire. The company has just invested in a new 6-axle Faymonville ModulMAX SP-E self-propelled vehicle with a 186 kW power pack to handle heavy goods movements. These twin-tired modules are equipped with an electronic steering system offering a steering angle of up to +/- 140°. A well-known solution based on proven Cometto technology.

Thanks to the compact remote control, operation is intuitive and user-friendly, and the ModulMAX allows operators to work with this electronically steered self-propelled vehicle even in the tightest of spaces. In addition, a cab has been installed to protect the operator from harsh weather conditions. This project was carried out by Faymonville Group partner SNM Heavy Handling.
