The Dufour Group strengthens its position in Belgium

The Dufour Group strengthens its position on its home turf, by integrating the Belgian company "Jean Boutique", specialized in lifting, handling, industrial maintenance, exceptional transport and industrial moving. This company, with three sites in Mons, Charleroi and Liège, generates sales of 20 million euros, with a fleet of over 40 mobile cranes up to 700 tons, as well as 10 electric cranes up to 40 tons, two MK88 cranes, one LR1060, a dozen auxiliary cranes up to 165 t/m and 20 tractor-trailer units up to 250 tons. The 130 "Boutique" employees have joined the Dufour workforce. The group now boasts an impressive fleet of heavy-duty cranes, with lifting sales of 80 million euros.

"In this category of high-capacity cranes, it's important to have good availability, and for that you need several units, to be able to respond to worksites that are sometimes far away. These cranes are used on major construction sites, not only in France, but also in Europe, a sector that remains dynamic, with several projects in France due to come on stream in the next few months," says Florent Mercier, Project Director for the Dufour Group.

The Group has just taken delivery of two new 650-tonne LTM1650 mobile cranes, to be delivered in March and April 2024, bringing the total number of such cranes in its fleet to 4. The Group also has three 750-tonne LTM1750 cranes, 4 750-tonne LG 1750 cranes, 7 650-tonne CC3800 crawler cranes, three 700-tonne AC700 mobile cranes and two 500-tonne AC500/LTM1500 cranes.
