The Tadano Group announces the acquisition of Nagano Industry Co. Ltd. Founded in 1968, Nagano had sales of 5.6 billion yen in 2022. Nagano Industry Co, Ltd. specializes in the manufacture of self-propelled crawler-mounted aerial platforms in Japan for a wide range of applications, including construction and civil engineering, as well as factories, shipbuilding and maintenance sites. The range includes articulated, telescopic and high-capacity crawler-mounted aerial platforms, from 9 to 20 m working height.
This strategic acquisition marks a turning point for Tadano, strengthening its ability to offer a wider range of solutions. The acquisition enables Tadano to extend its product offering to include self-propelled aerial work platforms, a category in high demand worldwide. With a market share of over 30% in Japan for truck-mounted aerial platforms, Tadano is poised to leverage Nagano's technologies to fuel further growth in the lifting sector.
