Since November 2025, Potain's PowerBoost™ has been used on a construction site with significant environmental constraints: the restoration of the ramparts of Brouage, in Charente-Maritime.
An autonomous battery-powered electrical supply system, PowerBoost™ meets the requirements of renovation sites where quiet operation, ease of installation, and energy control are essential. It powers the crane without a generator, thereby limiting noise, emissions, and fuel logistics.
Designed as a ready-to-use integrated solution, PowerBoost™ operates in standalone, hybrid, or standard grid-connected mode. It guarantees machine performance even on low-power grids, while reducing consumption costs and maintenance interventions.
With a battery life suitable for assembly and disassembly phases and up to two days of work, this system is perfectly suited to the needs of renovation sites and sensitive locations. This project was made possible thanks to the collaboration with distributor Valem and its customer, SA Hory-Chauvelin.
