Liebherr unveils the T48-8s telescopic handler

Liebherr is expanding its range of telescopic handlers with the launch of the T48-8s. This new model is designed to offer greater reach and working height, while retaining the technical features already familiar from the T55-7s. The first machines are already in production and available to order.

The T48-8s has an actual lifting height of 8 meters and a maximum capacity of 4.8 tons. This performance is made possible by a telescopic boom that is 550 mm longer than that of the T55-7s. This configuration makes it easier to reach high areas and improves forward reach, particularly when loading semi-trailers, containers, or hoppers.

Designed for industrial, agricultural, and recycling applications, the T48-8s facilitates the optimization of storage areas. The increased reach limits travel within material piles, contributing to improved maneuverability and safer operations.

In terms of engine and hydraulics, the new model is based on the T55-7s, with a 115 kW engine and a load-sensing hydraulic system capable of delivering up to 200 l/min. The ergonomic cab, with panoramic visibility and a joystick integrated into the seat, is designed to improve comfort and precision during everyday driving.

Available with various assistance systems and display options, the T48-8s is a new alternative for users seeking increased lifting height and enhanced versatility within the Liebherr range.
