DAF is expanding its electric range with the XG and XG⁺ Electric models, designed for long distances while offering optimal comfort. These trucks are based on the architecture of the XD and XF Electric, already recognized for their high-performance motors and LFP battery technology.
The cabins of the XG and XG⁺ are more spacious than those of the XF, with 12.5 m³ and an interior height of 2.2 m. The 80 cm wide beds offer a comfortable resting space for long journeys.
The vehicles are powered by the PACCAR EX-D2 engine, combining two electric motors and a three-speed transmission. Depending on the configuration, the modular battery allows for a range of up to 310 miles without recharging, and over 620 miles per day with optimized management.
The latest generation of LFP batteries recharge from 10% to 80% in just over 45 minutes and come with an eight-year warranty. The aerodynamic design, side panels, and digital cameras help maximize range.
DAF also offers comprehensive services: charging points, customized maintenance, PACCAR Connect telematics, and financing solutions through PACCAR Financial.
The XG and XG⁺ Electric are available as 4×2 tractors and 6×2 rigids with steering tag axles, combining electric powertrains with flexible interior space for long-haul journeys.
