South African company Vanguard, which specializes in heavy transport and lifting, has added two seven-axle Faymonville MultiMAX trailers to its fleet. Painted yellow, these semi-trailers feature a hydraulic gooseneck for greater maneuverability, an extendable platform, a reinforced steel deck, and removable ramps for loading machinery.
The project presented here is taking place at the port of Coega, where several wind turbine nacelles are being transported to their installation site.
At the same time, Vanguard recently took delivery of 32 Cometto SPMT axle lines, strengthening its capacity to handle oversized loads.
With the growth of wind power projects in South Africa, these solutions enable massive components to be transported safely, efficiently, and in a controlled manner, even under demanding conditions.
