Tadano announces the appointment of Scott Walter as Vice President of Sales for Manitex Inc. within Tadano America. This step is part of the ongoing integration of Manitex Inc. into the Tadano America organization, with the aim of strengthening sales and customer support.
With nearly 30 years of sales experience and more than 20 years in management, Scott Walter joins a team already structured around Jeff Long, sales director for boom trucks, aerial work platforms, and signal cranes, and Anthony Hampton, sales director for articulated cranes. Both will report to him. Prior to joining Tadano, Scott Walter spent 16 years as Vice President of Strategic OEM Accounts at Ritchie Bros., where he led business development and key account management.
According to Tadano, this appointment aims to give further impetus to Manitex Inc.'s commercial strategy, while continuing efforts to improve the products, services, and tools available to distributors and customers. For his part, Scott Walter says he is ready to work with the teams to support customers and assist in the development of the various product lines.
