Emil Frey Group appointed future general distributor for FUSO in Europe

Mitsubishi FUSO Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC), a subsidiary of Daimler Truck AG, announces the appointment of the Emil Frey Group as the future general distributor of FUSO trucks, after-sales services, and related services in 21 European markets. This development is part of the reorganization of FUSO's European sales, in connection with the integration of the FUSO and Hino brands into the new ARCHION holding company, which is scheduled to launch on April 1, 2026. FUSO light trucks will remain available in all current European markets.

The partnership will cover Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, and several countries in Central and Southeastern Europe. It aims to ensure business continuity and enhanced customer support thanks to Emil Frey's distribution network and experience in these markets.

Andreas Deuschle, Director of International Sales and Customer Service at FUSO, points out that the brand has been supplying European customers with light trucks manufactured in Tramagal, Portugal, since 1980, and emphasizes that this partnership brings together two players with a strong presence in Europe. For his part, Gerhard Schürmann, CEO of the Emil Frey Group, highlights the extension of a long-standing cooperation and the common goal of offering consistent service to customers and dealer partners.

MFTBC also confirms its commitment to continuing the development of electrified transport solutions in Europe. The FUSO eCanter, a fully electric light truck produced in series, is already being used in numerous professional applications, including urban delivery and municipal services.
