The Daimler Group saw its sales increase in 2023 to 526,053 units (trucks and buses), compared with 520,291 units in 2022, representing growth of 1%. Notably, 3,443 battery-electric vehicles were sold, an increase of 277% on 2022 (914 units). "We are very confident of achieving our financial ambitions for 2023. Our sales of battery electric vehicles have more than tripled compared to the previous year. We have expanded our product portfolio of battery electric vehicles for our customers in 2023 to ten different models. This is the basis for future growth and underlines our aspiration to be the transport leader of the future," says Martin Daum, CEO of Daimler Truck Holding AG.
