JO2024: limiting construction site rights-of-way

The UFL is alerting professionals to the restrictions that may be put in place by the City of Paris, as part of the preparation and staging of the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games. In accordance with road regulations, building sites between June 15 and September 15, 2024 may be restricted in certain areas. Within these perimeters, for rights-of-way in the public space required for building works authorized and started before June 15, 2024, particular attention is required to ensure that they are properly maintained and limited to what is strictly necessary. Between June 15 and September 15, 2024, no authorization will be issued to install building sites on the public highway, except for work of an emergency nature or required to ensure the safety of people and property. Outside these perimeters, permits to occupy the rights-of-way required for building sites will be issued as normal, in accordance with the regulations applicable during the period of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. However, during this period, the Préfecture de Police de Paris may impose special measures, such as site withdrawals, for reasons of public safety.
