Twelve new Liebherr MK mobile construction cranes have been ordered by the Wittrock and Ulferts groups, the largest order in Germany. The nine MK 88-4.1s and three MK 140-5.1s will be delivered to various sites in Germany between October 2024 and July 2025. The consortium of companies, with over 25 branches across Germany, inevstit to expand and modernize its fleet.
The consortium is made up of independent, family-run companies working closely together: Herrmann & Wittrock, Titschkus & Wittrock, Ulferts and Ulferts & Wittrock. "We've been focusing on mobile construction cranes since 2003, enabling us to offer our customers a complete range of mobile cranes," says Marcus Wittrock, one of the Managing Directors of the Wittrock Group. Oliver Hermann, also Managing Director of the Wittrock Group, adds: "The MK crane market has developed very favorably for us in recent years. Today, these cranes are in great demand, which is why we are not only replacing them, but also expanding our fleet."
The companies' fleets include 14 mobile construction cranes and over 200 mobile cranes (up to 700 tonnes lifting capacity), as well as crawler cranes up to 650 tonnes, most of them Liebherr.
