SARENS receives its first 100% electric SANY crawler crane

The energy transition is now affecting the heavy lifting sector. Manufacturers are developing machines capable of meeting the environmental constraints of urban and industrial construction sites without changing operational standards.

SANY is part of this evolution with a range of fully electric crawler cranes. The manufacturer offers models with zero local emissions and low noise levels, designed for ports, infrastructure projects, and sensitive construction sites.

In this context, SARENS took delivery of its first fully electric SANY crawler crane, an SCC2000A-EV. With a maximum capacity of 200 tons, the machine is equipped with a lattice boom that can reach up to 86 meters and an electric motor powered by a battery of approximately 422 kWh, allowing for a full day of work depending on the conditions of use.

Recently arrived in France, the crane was assembled and tested on site, marking a new milestone in the integration of electric solutions into European lifting fleets.
