German manufacturer GEFAS, which specializes in HELIX industrial mast-climbing work platforms, has appointed Finnish company Tr8con Oy as its distributor for Scandinavia and the Baltic States. The agreement also provides for global sales support, with the exception of countries in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
Based in Vantaa, Finland, Tr8con Oy will be responsible for developing the presence of HELIX platforms in markets where GEFAS has had little presence to date. "We are delighted to have found a reliable partner in Tr8con, which will make our HELIX platforms accessible to the industrial sector in Scandinavia and the Baltic States," said Andreas Hänel, Managing Director of GEFAS.

GEFAS manufactures all of its HELIX work platforms at its site in Roßla, in the southern Harz Mountains in Germany. This equipment has been designed for assembly, maintenance, and repair work in confined or difficult-to-access environments. The various models combine electric motors, compact size, and great maneuverability with working heights suited to industrial needs. They are designed for use in industrial halls, logistics centers, production sites, technical facilities, and building management activities.
