Petit Forestier deploys nearly 300 electric IVECO eDaily vehicles across Europe

The Petit Forestier Group has put nearly 300 fully electric IVECO eDaily vehicles into service across Europe, marking a new milestone in its partnership with the Italian manufacturer. To date, 275 vehicles have already been delivered to the group's French and European branches.

These launches are part of the memorandum of understanding signed in 2022 between Petit Forestier Group and IVECO, covering the supply of 2,000 chassis cabs to be fitted with refrigerated bodies by Lecapitaine. The eDaily vehicles are equipped with URBAN refrigerated bodies by Lecapitaine, designed to meet the challenges of urban logistics.

Designed for deliveries in low-emission zones, these electric vehicles aim to help the group's customers reduce the carbon footprint of their fleets while maintaining the operational requirements of refrigerated transport.

The eDaily models feature the ePTO function, which is suitable for refrigeration applications. This allows both the vehicle and the refrigeration unit to be powered directly via the chassis battery or the electrical grid, reducing the need for recharging and simplifying use for drivers. This technology also helps to improve overall energy efficiency.
