Transports Helmbacher, based in the Bas-Rhin region of France, has purchased its first 510 hp MAN TGX truck powered by exclusive B100. After testing the non-exclusive B100, the company decided to take the plunge: "We tested several solutions to reduce our carbon footprint, but none of them gave us complete satisfaction. What's more, with legislation on EPZs soon to come into force, particularly in the Strasbourg area, we had to find a long-term solution. The MAN TGX running on exclusive B100 was the most appropriate solution for all our activities", says Frédéric Helmbacher, head of Transports Helmbacher. The company operates mainly in the public works, recycling and local authority sectors, as well as in trade and agricultural production, throughout the Grand-Est region.
This new MAN is equipped with a driven front axle with MAN HydroDrive hydrostatic transmission, to facilitate complex areas. "Frédéric Helmbacher adds: "The exclusive B100 solution, with our own tank, meets our needs, with distances covered equivalent to those of a diesel vehicle.
The exclusive B100 allows access to the bonus depreciation scheme until 2030.
