Theft of equipment: the DLR Federation presents its actions on BFM Business

The DLR Federation spoke on BFM Business in the program Paroles d'Entreprises, broadcast on January 10 and 11. On this occasion, Joël Fruchart, Vice President of the Federation and Chairman of the Halte aux vols(Stop Theft) commission, detailed the actions taken by the industry to combat theft and fraud in the rental, distribution, and maintenance sectors of construction and handling equipment.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review the Halte aux vols(Stop Theft) program, which aims to strengthen prevention and security measures for member companies. Among the areas of focus presented were the development of dedicated training courses and the strengthening of cooperation with law enforcement agencies, in particular the UNPJ-GN and the OCLDI, in order to improve the detection and handling of theft incidents.

This media campaign is part of the ongoing work carried out by the DLR Federation, which has over 1,000 members and represents a large share of the market. It helps raise awareness of the economic issues associated with equipment theft and sensitizes public authorities, the media, and the general public to the risks faced by professionals in the sector.
