Nuvia, a VINCI Construction subsidiary specializing in nuclear projects and services, announces the acquisition of Marsein, a long-standing Spanish player in nuclear services and maintenance.
Based in Spain for over 40 years, Marsein employs 280 people and generated sales of 32 million euros in 2024. The company is involved in maintenance, welding, dismantling and nuclear waste management, notably at the Vandellós I, José Cabrera - Zorita and Santa María de Garoña sites.
This transaction marks Nuvia's first move into Spain, bringing the number of countries in which it operates to 16. This acquisition will strengthen Marsein's local expertise, while integrating Nuvia's technologies and know-how in maintenance and dismantling.
With this new site, VINCI Construction confirms its international development strategy and consolidates its position in the entire life cycle of nuclear facilities, from construction to maintenance and decommissioning.
