Ceva Logistics, the logistics subsidiary of CMA CGM, is implementing its new organization and developing its offering, integrating Bolloré Logistics, acquired last February. "CEVA Logistics is evolving towards a vertical, product-focused organization that will benefit our teams and our customers, as we compete in the Top 5 of the logistics industry. The vision we have for CEVA, with the support of the CMA CGM Group, is taking shape today," says Mathieu Friedberg, CEO of CEVA Logistics.
In 2023, CEVA generated sales of 20.2 billion euros and employs over 110,000 people worldwide. Ceva Logistics and Bolloré Logistics will move forward (before the end of the year) under a single brand, Ceva Logistics. The new, verticalized organization is designed to strengthen the company's ability to offer its customers coherent global services across its entire product range, including air, sea, land and rail transport, contract logistics, finished vehicle logistics, project logistics and customs solutions. Ceva has strengthened its offering through a number of acquisitions, and now boasts a solid network on the African continent. In 2022, CEVA integrated Ingram Micro's CLS division to enhance its e-commerce solutions, GEFCO for its finished vehicle logistics solutions for automotive customers and to develop its European overland network, and now Bolloré Logistics to strengthen its air and sea freight management solutions. Other targeted acquisitions, such as Colis Privé in France, have enabled CEVA to develop its presence in the last-mile delivery of small parcels in France (Colis Privé) in particular.
