Foselev, based in Caen, has just taken delivery of a Grove GMK 4080L mobile crane from Manitowoc Grove. The keys were handed over by Morgan Cariou, Mobile Crane Sales Representative at Manitowoc, marking the arrival of this new machine in the company's fleet.
The GMK 4080L is a four-axle all-terrain crane with a telescopic main boom ranging from 11.3 m to 60 m, giving it a wide operating range. It has a rated capacity of around 80 tons and can carry up to 19 tons of counterweight while remaining mobile, with load configurations suitable for road transport and on-site work.
The machine is built on a compact chassis (minimum width of 2.55 m and total length of approximately 12.82 m), which facilitates movement between sites. It is powered by a 300 kW Mercedes-Benz OM470LA engine.
Its features include independent hydropneumatic suspension on all wheels ( MEGATRAK® system), a tilting cab for operator comfort, and systems to assist with planning and controlling lifts.
