Groupe Blondel, which specializes in transport, logistics, industry and e-commerce, is continuing to decarbonize its fleet with the acquisition of 28 Scania CNG trucks, including 14 in 2024.

With over 15% of its engines run on CNG (Natural Gas Vehicle), i.e. 200 vehicles, the Blondel Group aims to reduce its GHG emissions by 50% by 2030. Convinced of the need for an energy mix, the group has also invested in 10 electric vehicles by 2025to understand and master the challenges of electrification". Since 2017, the group, based in Picardy, has been supported by ScannordScannord is Scania's representative in the Hauts de France and Flanders regions. It provides a wide range of services, and today Scannord maintains 36 gas vehicles.

What's more, the 26 technicians in our maintenance workshops have been trained and qualified in LNG technology, so that they can work with total agility on the 120 vehicles in this category.
