Ritchie Bros ends year-end campaign with a new record

With over 19,000 pieces of equipment sold, up 25% on the previous year, Ritchie Bros' year-end auction operation set new records.

Dubbed "Finishing Stronger, Starting Stronger", the campaign recorded this record across 11 auctions without reserve prices from key markets around the world. It attracted over 22,700 registrants for auctions in Europe, the United Arab Emirates and the Asia-Pacific region. The most numerous buyers came from Australia, Spain, Italy, France and Germany. In addition to mini-excavators and crawler excavators, telescopic booms accounted for more than 680 lots sold.

In France, the last auction from December 3 to 5 attracted over 3,700 bidders, an unprecedented turnout for the month of December. Over 1,100 buyers purchased equipment during the sale, and 3,411 lots were sold.
