Ritchie Bros organized seven auctions without reserve prices in September in the EMEA region. This "Super September" campaign broke records with 12554 items sold and 12773 registrants.
France's first auction dedicated to the transfer of a business was held in Irvillac, Brittany. With 789 bidders for 99 items, it was a success. In Spain, the number of bidders increased by 40% (792) compared to the same period last year, and the number of lots rose by 19.5% to a total of 2,114 items. In Italy, the number of bidders rose by 11% year-on-year, with 3,231 registrations, while the number of buyers increased by 9% and lots sold by 5% (2,287).
"By consolidating our sales and leveraging our global network of buyers, we have created a powerful dynamic. With over 12,500 lots sold to international buyers from many countries, we enable sellers to achieve impressive results while giving buyers access to a diverse inventory at a time when options are typically limited. This campaign not only highlights our global reach, but also underscores our role as an essential marketplace in the used equipment sector," saidDavid Fanning, International Marketing Director at Ritchie Bros.
