Eiffage wins contract to extend the Henri Becquerel Centre in Rouen

Eiffage Construction, in a consortium with Fouchard and Sner, has won a €72 million contract (€50 million for Eiffage) to extend and restructure the Henri Becquerel Cancer Center in Rouen. This 16,700 m² project includes the construction of a new 14,000 m² building on five levels and the creation of a curved bridge-building to link the existing, renovated and enlarged structures.
Designed by the firm Groupe-6, the building emphasizes transparency and energy efficiency, using materials with a low environmental footprint, glazed surfaces for bioclimatic management, rainwater management and connection to the urban heating network. Construction work has just begun, with delivery scheduled for 2026.
