The Vinci Group has finalized an investment of around 50 million euros (or 10% of the capital) in NatPower SA, a renewable energy development platform operating in Italy, the UK and the USA. Under the terms of the agreement, Vinci will benefit from a priority right to acquire, if it so wishes, projects in the Ready to Build phase initiated by NatPower SA. This investment is accompanied by an agreement for the joint development of renewable energy projects, mainly solar and onshore wind power in the United States. NatPower has a portfolio of around 1.2 GW in the USA, with a further 2 GW at the preliminary stage. In this context, a joint venture, controlled by VINCI through its subsidiary Cobra IS, will be set up in the United States.
