Alphagreen: a new partnership for decarbonizing engines

Alphagreen, a company specializing in hydrogen-powered engine depollution, has just signed a partnership agreement with Certinergy&Solutions, a subsidiary of the Engie group dedicated to energy efficiency. Alphagreen, based in Besançon, France, uses a patented solution for cleaning soot residues by precise injection of hydrogen, which restores the engine's original performance. After intervention, fuel consumption is reduced by an average of 7 to 15%, and pollutant emissions by 50 to 70%. Certinergy & Solutions supports the company in setting up and submitting its first CEE (Certificats d'Economie d'Energie) files. By working together to obtain EECs, Certinergy & Solutions is strengthening the appeal of Alphagreen's offer and facilitating the deployment of its solution for depolluting combustion engines.
The first of these is for the depollution operations carried out for logistics carrier Logivia, a specialist in the agricultural and agri-food sectors. By working on 55 of its vehicles over the past few months, Alphagreen has helped to reduce CO2 emissions by 546 tonnes and cut harmful emissions by 48%, with an average reduction in fuel consumption of 12.5%.
In 2024, Alphagreen plans to accelerate the national rollout of its solution with the opening of new branches, following the creation of a second site in Lyon in autumn 2023.
