Modular construction is gaining a foothold in the construction sector, with growth of 4% in 2023 compared to 2022, for total sales of 1.19 billion euros. These are the findings of the French Industrialized and Modular Construction Association (ACIM) in its annual business survey (*). Among the market trends identified in the survey, rental stands out as the main growth driver, with sales of 719 million euros. The rental fleet comprises 240,500 modules, with a utilization rate of 83.4%. For 2024, companies are cautiously optimistic about the future, forecasting an increase in sales in the rental sector, while sales foresee stable margins with a slight increase in prices. Investments should remain stable overall.
