Nicolas Derouault to head Idea Group

As of February 1, Nicolas Derouault is the new CEO of the Idea Group. He succeeds Bruno Hug de Larauze, who headed the group, which has specialized in customized logistics solutions for 27 years. Nicolas Derouault joined the company in 2000 with a mission to diversify port activities in St-Nazaire. In 2001, he created the industrial logistics division, with sustained growth of around 15% a year, before becoming Deputy Managing Director in 2016. Today, these services provide a comprehensive offering, from the design of organizational flow solutions to the execution of deliveries to customer plants.
The IDEA Group, with 70 sites in France today, has achieved sales of €200 million by 2023. "Our aim is to reinforce our commitments in terms of decarbonizing our activities, and having a positive social and societal impact, for a more sustainable development. This is our raison d'être: together, let's dare to build responsible solutions to the challenges of today and tomorrow," declared Nicolas Derouault, after thanking Bruno Hug de Larauze for "his unfailing and long-standing support, for sharing his enlightened vision and the sense given to action."
