NGE and Egis to build the Roissy-Picardie rail link

SNCF Réseau has awarded the contract for the design and construction of the new line for the future Roissy-Picardie rail link to the NGE and Egis consortium. Work on this 3.7 km double track will start in early 2024 and be completed by mid-2026. The €60 million project will mobilize all of the NGE Group's activities: project engineering, earthworks, drainage, civil engineering, landscaping and railway works.
The contract includes the construction of eight engineering structures (4 rail bridges and 4 road bridges), including a crossing structure over the A1 freeway. It will require very precise phasing, since the work will have to be carried out with interruptions to road traffic during the night. A 90 m long viaduct will also be built at Villeron, as well as a passageway for large animals to maintain the ecological continuity of the Argenteuil woods. In addition, several initiatives will be implemented to control the carbon impact of the worksite.
