Scania strengthens its network

Coulommiers Poids Lourds, based in Mouroux (77), has joined the Scania network as a new truck repairer, enabling Scania to strengthen its presence in the Paris region. Coulommiers Poids Lourds operates three sites, but it is the Mouroux site, with its 21 employees, that will represent Scania. It boasts a large workshop with thirteen bays, a body and paint shop, a tacho and immobilizer center, and a tire business. We've always had a multi-brand clientele," says Renaud Harlay, President, who runs the company with his sister Muriel. Our customers' activities are very varied. There are a few large regional hauliers, and a lot of tippers, for waste collection in particular." It was Muriel and Renaud Harlay who contacted Scania France to join the griffon's French network. "Scania vehicles have the image of top-of-the-range vehicles, particularly in terms of quality and reliability," stresses Renaud Harlay. "We already have Scania owners among our customers. There's a large fleet in the area, and there was no repairer between Mitry (77), Fleury (91) and Reims (51)."

The Scania network has 110 sales and service outlets in France, including 38 branches and 72 independents. "Our strategy today is to renovate and expand our current sites to meet our new challenges, notably the arrival of electric vehicles and cybersecurity management," stresses Nadine Fribourg-Blanc, Scania France's Network and Strategy Director.
