Société du Grand Paris has awarded the design-build contract for a section of the Grand Paris Express line 15 Est, worth €2.54 million, to the consortium led by Eiffage via its subsidiary Eiffage Génie Civil. The section runs between the Bobigny-Pablo Picasso and Champigny Centre stations. The project involves digging 17 km of tunnel, building 15 service structures and 2 entrances, laying track and linear equipment, and installing high-voltage and low-voltage systems. The consortium will also be responsible for the construction of 6 new stations, as well as the development of the section of the Champigny Centre station dedicated to Line 15 East, an operations center at Rosny-sous-Bois and two real-estate projects at Bondy and Le Perreux.
The consortium is committed to reducing the project's carbon footprint, notably through the use of low-carbon concrete and the installation of fiber-reinforced concrete voussoirs. The contract also includes 15 hectares of planted areas.
Work will start after a 15-month design phase, with completion scheduled for 2031.
