Altens launches an electric recharging offer

Alternative fuels specialist Altens launches its new electric recharging offer to provide transport companies with a complete range of low-carbon energy solutions. The new PUR-ELEC range is offered in partnership with XCharge, a supplier of high-power intelligent charging solutions. It includes the production and distribution of green electricity, the installation of private charging stations on company premises, preliminary technical studies, financing and digital management tools. The offer also includes the installation of photovoltaic panels on the roofs of hauliers' buildings or logistics warehouses, as well as shading and smart charging stations.
"This strategy of self-generated electricity enables hauliers to make substantial savings on their energy costs, and reduce the time needed to connect to the power grid or install suitable transformers. In addition, they have access to green electricity to recharge their fleet. And if their consumption requires an additional connection to the supplier's network, transporters can purchase electricity at low cost during off-peak hours, thus reducing their operating costs," says Mohamed Bennama, President of Altens.
Upstream, a technical study and integration engineering is planned, as well as an analysis of needs and consumption according to the truck fleet. The C7 fast charging station is one of the most powerful on the European market. Compatible with all types of vehicle (cars, LCVs, LCVs), it delivers electrical recharging power of between 280 and 400 kW, with a high efficiency rate (96%).
