SDIS de la Réunion has just taken delivery of its new MAN TGS Tridem truck, fitted with a Palfinger arm and crane. This multi-purpose vehicle is designed to access even the most remote locations in rugged terrain.
This cradle-carrier vehicle is equipped with a hydraulic arm for transporting a container, and is intended for the DIH (detachement d'intervention héliporté). Positioned at strategic locations, it can transport the various materials that the DIH may need: accompanying cradle, but also decontamination cell, tray for transporting light boats for use in the event of flooding... various tasks to meet the island's geographical context, characterized by numerous natural hazards and therefore with a high level of operational activity for the SDIS.
