Naval Group has invested in 4 new 6-axle SPMT Cometto modules, which will join the Cherbourg site. Thanks to their modularity and 48-ton load capacity per axle line, these self-propelled modular transporters offer a transport solution for the heaviest of missions. The electronic steering system guarantees maneuverability and precision thanks to a +135° / -135° steering angle. Two 129 kW Power Pack units and a set of accessories complete the package.
This order is a continuation of the trusting cooperation between Cometto and Naval Group. Indeed, 3 2-axle versions of the Eco1000 model have already been delivered. These self-propelled units offer a compact structure thanks to their Power Pack located under the loading platform, making them ideal for workplaces where manoeuvring space is limited. Another special feature of the Eco1000 range is the availability of three different Power Pack technologies: diesel, hybrid - unique on the market - and electric, as chosen by Naval Group.
