LGH sets up in France and strengthens its European presence

British lifting and handling equipment rental specialist LGH opens its first branch in France, in Dreux, Eure-et-Loir. This marks a new stage in the group's European development, and responds to growing demand from the French infrastructure, energy and construction markets.

The Dreux site includes a fully-equipped warehouse with a wide range of equipment available for rental: hoists, gantry cranes, hydraulic systems, lifting accessories and handling equipment. The branch will serve as a logistics base to support French companies in their industrial and construction projects.

The local team is headed by LGH team leader Koffi Ahawo and Lorenzo du Burck, in charge of business development in France. Both are responsible for coordination with the European teams, and for guaranteeing service quality and equipment availability.

According to Andy Mault, CEO of LGH Europe, the company's arrival in France is a continuation of its international expansion:

"The French market offers opportunities in the infrastructure, ports and renewable energies sectors. This location enables us to be closer to our customers and respond more quickly to their needs."

Until now, LGH has supported French projects from its base in Antwerp. The opening of the Dreux site will enable us to offer local solutions and local service.

LGH already works with a number of well-known manufacturers and distributors, including Tractel, Kito Crosby, JD Neuhaus and Modulift. The company also plans to use its French site as a base for future expansion on the continent.

As a member of theUnion Française du Levage (UFL), LGH intends to play an active role in the development of the sector in France, while strengthening its industrial partnerships.
