On the site of the Grand Paris Express Line 15 West, Mediaco Maxilift teams were involved in handling parts for the tunnel boring machine at the future Nanterre La Folie station.
For this operation, a Cometto self-propelled modular trailer (SPMT) 4 × 12 axle lines equipped with a 202 kW PPU was used to transport several heavy packages, including the skirt and cutting wheel of the TBM. The main package weighed 158 tonnes.
The parts were then lifted by the liebherr LG1750 crane, and lowered into the shaft of the future station. The precise positioning of these components is necessary for the assembly of the TBM and the start of the tunnel boring work.
