Successful premiere for ENERCON: TII SCHEUERLE's new BladeLifter proves its worth

A milestone first for wind turbine transport: ENERCON used its brand-new SCHEUERLE BladeLifter G4 from TII SCHEUERLE for the first time. The equipment proved its worth on the construction site of the Olsbrücken wind farm, under particularly demanding conditions.

The challenge: transporting 68-meter-long blades across narrow roads, tight bends and level crossings. Thanks to its ability to lift and tilt the blades up to 60°, the BladeLifter G4 enabled safe, precise and rapid transport.

" The BladeLifter G4 opens up new logistics perspectives for us. It offers greater flexibility and safety, especially for complex routes," explains Björn Feddermann, Global Logistics Project Manager at ENERCON.

The operation, carried out by the ENERCON team under Feddermann's leadership, went off without a hitch - a successful first for this innovative technology.

Already convinced, the wind turbine manufacturer plans to use the BladeLifter G4 again at the Bingen wind farm near Lake Constance.

With this transport solution from TII SCHEUERLE, ENERCON illustrates how innovation in heavy lifting contributes directly to the development of renewable energies: less impact on infrastructure, greater efficiency and optimized planning.
