Mercedes-Benz Trucks has delivered to MTB GmbH, based in Nordstemmen (Lower Saxony), the first of three exclusive Mercedes-Benz Arocs Extent trucks, a special model limited to 100 units worldwide. Designed for demanding construction sites, the Arocs Extent combines robustness, power and top-of-the-range design, with its dark chrome and matte patina gray finish. For Mayk Taherian, Managing Director of MTB GmbH, " these vehicles offer our drivers maximum functionality and a strong personality ". The three models ordered, Arocs 1853 LS, 1843 AK and 2553 LK, mark the company's entry into the 7.5-ton segment. The first vehicle delivered is equipped with the OM 473 engine, a 15.6-liter in-line six-cylinder developing 625 hp, guaranteeing power and efficiency thanks to X-Pulse injection and turbo compound technology. The Arocs Extent is also distinguished by its Interactive Multimedia Cockpit 2, with dual digital screens, touch and voice control, as well as the Predictive Powertrain Control system, which optimizes driving according to the terrain.
