Bobcat celebrates another success in Europe with over 30,000 machines equipped with its Machine IQ telematics platform, launched in 2019. The solution provides near real-time data on machine location, utilization, fuel consumption and maintenance, enabling customers and dealers to optimize safety and productivity.
Installed at the factory or as an after-sales kit, Machine IQ includes maintenance tracking, machine grouping and, in the Premium package, advanced features such as virtual perimeters, customized alerts and remote engine deactivation/activation to prevent theft.
In the field, the platform has already made it possible to recover stolen machines, anticipate breakdowns and reduce unplanned downtime. According to Tomas Plechaty, Senior Manager Machine IQ at Doosan Bobcat EMEA: " Real-time data enables our customers to make better decisions and increase safety and productivity.
